Custom illustrated Instagram Icons

A relative of mine has recently been sharing interesting insights on life with lipedema on her Instagram channel.

To support her cause, I created some custom Instagram icons for her.

We started off by creating a list of categories that she would like to promote. Each category needs to be correlated to a symbol. For example:

  • Arts and Crafts: Scissor

  • Aloe Vera: Aloe plant

  • Stories and experiences: Open book

  • etc.

We came up with a total of 15 categories.

Once this was done it was time to choose the colours. I played around with some designs and combinations and discussed multiple options until we found the perfect fit
